Rich Dale – Escape Act / Volte-face Records

Rich is bass player with Belfast-based Escape Act. He has been involved in the grass-roots industry for 15 years, promoting various live music clubs and performing in several bands. He helped establish ‘Fastfude’ – Northern Ireland’s local music website, and more recently initiated monthly music industry meet-ups and coordinated UnConvention in Belfast. Escape Act’s debut ‘Loosely Based On Fiction’ has received much critical acclaim and a new series of releases is planned for late 09 and 2010. Rich is also working with friends in Belfast on a new approach to artist development. He is an ardent fan of the leek, a versatile and often overlooked vegetable.
